Narrative: Claus snaps back to reality as he is continues the scream from earlier, with his eyes closed in fear.

Rand holds him tightly and tells him that it’s going to be okay, as he had just finished pulling him out of the gas chamber.

Claus stops screaming and opens his eyes and realizes he just only had left Magicant and wasn’t in current existential danger.

Rand tells him that he wasted no time pulling him of the gas chamber, right when he had fainted, especially after he had hit his face so hard against the glass entrance.

Claus carcasses the spoken injury on his face and looks back at his hand to see some blood had rubbed off.

Claus feeling nauseous, motions Rand that he needs to vomit, and Rand lets go, as Claus vomits on floor.

Claus almost slips over his pile, as Rand holds him before he can fall. As Claus grunts “Thanks.”

Rands supports Claus with his arm over his shoulder as they walk outside the storage container.

Rand tells Claus, he’s going to be okay, and that he’s going to take him to the hospital.

However, Claus refuses and says he still needs to go back, and Rand sternly tells Claus that he shouldn’t have had put Claus be put in such a dangerous situation.

But, he was so stressed out about being sued, that he forgot about what had mattered most, so to make amends he will take Claus to the hospital so he doesn’t develop any permanent damage or die from toxic chemicals he ingested.

Claus shouts to assure Rand that he is okay, and that he was so close to enhancing his powers; but, Rand had defied him his chance to ascend.

Suddenly, Claus begins to feel like he’s going to faint again and Claus tells Rand, that he is going to collapse once again, to go back to enhancing his powers, and asks him to carry him to Club Titiboo instead of the hospital.

Rand asks why does Claus put on a strong show, when it’s obvious that he is suffering.

As Claus’s surroundings start to blacken and his body weakens, he softly says that he cannot go the hospital because he doesn’t want to worry Marie with his foolishness and stupidity, as he wants her to see him strong and confident.

Rand says that Claus is such a fool, but respects his decision.

Though, if he happens to die, the consequence of that blood contract afterwards, would really suck for him. Claus laughs in Rand’s arms, as he promises he will comeback alive, better than ever, and goes unconscious.
