In the events of MOTHER 2 and after them… are PSI Users accepted in society?

I think that PSI users would continue to be a little known demographic. There are little PSI users compared to regular humans in the Mother 2 world, obviously not counting Gyigas minions which wouldnt populate earth after Gyigas is defeated.
