UraCreatures is the evolution of an old idea of mine based on Pokémon + EarthBound trying to mix the mechanics and make a game that isn't a Pocket Monster clon with EB skin, or a Mother game with a Pokémon skin. Actually the thing that I want to make was a perfect fusion of those concepts (or get close to it) and the more near I am of it the more I see that the idea had more potential until it turns into this original idea.
I changed so many things that even the name have changed, and now I've made an entire new universe for this idea that despite being simple and little, it started out being a simple fangame so this evolution is a good step and a more interesting one in my opinion.

The region Bounkai hasn't changed too much
. It keeps his name that is a fusion between "Bound/Bounce" and "Kaiju" the map may still look a little small for me but with the idea that I have I'll probably make the map bigger in a future update or probably a sequel.Along the adventure through the region, the main character be forced to follow the routes to go to it's destiny but more far in the game you can obtain the next tools:
- Axes to chop trees
- Hammers to break rocks
- Hiking gloves to climb
- Surf board to swim through waves (the main character can swim, but not against waves)
In the map the blue houses are cities and the red mountains are important places like dungeons, caves, forests, mountains, etc. If you see the map there are 2 types of lines: the normal ones and the others of dots, the normal lines refers to paths easily visible in-game but the lines of dots refers to paths that aren't paths at all cause those are big areas of raw exploration where you can easily get lost and this areas have secrets within that may lead you to dungeons, new creatures or something... Different...

Note: the cubic archipelago didn't disappear, it is just more far from the coast at the point you need a boat to get there

The characters despite look exactly like humans, in these new version of the idea they are of a new species called "Caroflos" shortened as "Caros" and internally they have a difference that let they tame the creatures, inside their bodies they have a special organ which gives them extrasensorial powers (this doesn't matter, but the organ looks like a flower however you just see it in the game if you read books).
The main characters are a boy and a girl named Pine and Ana (or the name you choose for both) are two boys born in the north. One of those (the one that you choose) decide to go on a trip but his fathers and the elder of the village are scared because is too youth and make a "fake ritual" for stop him in which he/she had to find and tame a UraCreature. But the main character overcomes the ritual and now even the elder can't pull apart the creature that the child tamed even when it was originally in his care, the father and the mother of the prota say he can't travel but then the elder say that he got an idea. He let Pine travel if Ana goes with him (or vice versa) and despite all are worried they let those kids travel

From the past idea comes here two villain teams with new names: Silver Star Team and the Canine Organization.
The army of the Canine Organization are more mysterious, they have been obsessed with some sort of mysterious deity more powerful than the UraCreatures and more near to the Caros than the creatures. Their troops are trying to find or replicate the power of the strange animal called "wolf"

The battle encounters are like the ones of Mother 3 cause you see the UraCreatures walk around the world and according to its nature they will attack you, run of you or ignore you but the moment you touch them a battle start and the scenario changes. If you attack them from backwards you have the first turn but if the creature gets you from backwards he have the first turn. While the UraCreatures are spirits they appear out of nowhere (the ground, in fact) they appear like a light sphere of a color accord to his elemental type.
However there are tall grass spots but go inside they don't mean there are random encounters. In some point you hear the song changing and a strong breeze swirl around the grass moving towards you, if this happen you must stay still until the breeze and the song stops or else it will start a battle against a random creature/s.

Inside the battle the mechanics are very similar to Pokémon, except life goes down slowly like on EarthBound giving you time to recover the creature before it black out. Every move the creatures do in battle involves consuming PP but out of the battle they recover PP slowly (this depends of each move how fast it recovers) but at least the creatures can know 5 moves besides the limit of 4 in Pokemon.
The enemies doesn't control his amount, you can be forced to fight against a max of 8 creatures in screen (there can be more) while you team is small, the max creatures you can have in your team still being 6. And out of battle you can decide if you want to summon 3, 1 or all you creatures when start a battle. Probably you don't let the weak ones fight cause, if they are defeated they lost a part of his experience and even can down his level.
The user like the other wizards have magical powers, not strong as the ones of the UraCreatures but enough to help them in battle. Every battle the user wins give experience not just for the creatures, it does too for the user but the user needs enormous amounts of EXP to level up cause every time him does his power got more stronger. Anyway the max level for the user is 16 while the max level for the UraCreatures is 99.
The main character's spells are divided in util and annoying: Cure let you don't waste a potion healing the creatures, Energize is for recover PP in mid battle, Balance for recover the creatures stats to normal if they were downgraded, Spy to know if the rival creature held a item or how many HP is left. But there are also Swap obligatory to change the current creature which other of your team or Summon to add another of your creatures in battle despite you don't need to use your mana for Store it. The lore explain this because every time you start a battle the main character's uses his magic to give power to his UraCreatures. That's why the wizard's creatures are stronger than the wild ones but don't believe the wilds can't give troubles, remind they can attack in big groups
But in a point of the adventure, another wizards teach the main character the UraLink. And spell that allow the user to join one of his UraCreatures to the nature one more time growing his power, fortifying his moves and sometimes even change his type into a UraType. Yes, a copy of the Terastal phenomenon. But you can use it multiple times in battle, not so easy because every time you use it over one of your creatures you have to do a rhythm event (as the combos of Mother 3) every time you do it right the UraLink stays one more turn being the max 10 turns but you can do it more than that because for do it you consume a big amount of the user mana but exceed the limit of 10 make the other hits turn into mana. Obviously if the mana gets to max it stops but after 10 the rhythm goes faster so it's hard to exceed 10 turns.

When the turns of the UraLink have been overcome, you must wait the same turns (x2) to activate it again

Now, this is important. What are the UraCreatures? As the elder say in the beginning of the adventure "the UraCreatures are spirits who can born thanks to the Power of Naturaleza, the forest, the mountains, the magma, the sky and even the animals join his powers to give life to the UraCreatures" that's a short explication of they. With this info you probably know that the UraCreatures doesn't count as an animal, they are their own things but are in all Biophilya, in fact the only animals in Biophilya are the Caros, cows, and pigeons. No more known, at least yet...
To tame the UraCreatures you need to buy both things an empty bottle and incense, once in a battle you must light the incense and that affect the rival creatures.
If the incense is of their liking, after beat him, it turns into a light sphere and after the battle you can store it in a bottle or free it which gives you experience, if you don't had a bottle the creature go away automatically.
But if the incense isn't of their liking, the chance of catch him reduces. Sometimes you don't need to use the incense cause the creature naturally can join to you (for example) with 40% of chance but with incense it can grow to 70% or reduces to 10% or even %-10 by example. And some other creatures have the chance down of %0 which forces you to use incense if you want they. The incense affect all creatures in battle, and you can use multiple incenses if they aren't the same for accumulate his power (example: you used Spring incense, you can use an Ocean incense but you can't use another Spring incense until other battle). The liking of incenses aren't affected by the type of the creature, it is ind
These is a small list of the creatures that I have (if I don't upload a picture, is because I hate the actual art or it doesn't have)
One thing that I need to say is that some creatures gonna get a "recolor" version of himself but with another types this trying to simulate the regional fakes of Pokémon SV and the recolors of EarthBounds. And actually here ain't gonna be legendary UraCreatures, in the story gonna be something similar but that isn't a UraCreature.
P.S.: I'm don't gonna tell the story here. Im probably gonna make another article only for the story despite being short.
