Do you think Porky was in-control of himself?

Porky in Earthbound Acted Mischievous because

  • Porky had freely willed himself to commit mischief.

  • Porky had been manipulated to commit mischief but retained some free will.

  • Porky had been a mind slave.

Do you think that Earthbound Porky was acting of his own volition or being controlled by Giygas. Or something of a mix of the two?

In one interview it was said that Porky could be the way he is because of his parents. That and his only friend leaving him to save the world from Giygas are the reason why he started to act the way he did. Ofc things got way worse with Giygas infuence. Pretty sure this poor bastard went from childish to real evil because of both Giygas influence and his own parents/friends.
