Yes for Remake:
-To satisfy old fans

-To adapt to a new generation of consumers

-Give more money to Nintendo

-Visual and Sound Upgrade

-More Comfortable than playing 8-bit, 16-bit

-Earthbound Beginnings Aged Horribly

-More Earthbound Content to Consume

-Old Games Too Slow

-Clay Graphics

No for Remake:
-It can't be remaked, it could only be reimagined

-A fan remake cannot be trusted as the Earthbound Community is compromised by silly head canons

-Conservative Mother Fans and Reactionary Earthbound 64 Fans don't care about Progress but to play the same game over again.

-Nintendo doesn't want to deal with Earthbound Fans who whine that the remake that isn't faithful to Itoi's vision

Not necessarily, but as I said once in mother forever, imagine if instead of just porting mother 3, one day they just reveal a full remake in this style:

I still have a strange appeal to 16 and 32 bits, but definitely a Link's awakening remastered style remake would be awesome. I gotta say I LOVE a reimagination I saw somewhere from Mother 1 in this style, it's just so neat.

Yeah yeah, I love retro graphics, is not that, is just that the idea of a remake with clay art for mother 3 seems just as appealing to me, specifically because in the video they use clay art models like the ones they use to promote the games.
