Premise:

One of the big plot twists in Mother 3 is that the World had already ended and Porky decided to pick up the scraps to start anew.

So a good question to ask is how long after the events of Earthbound do you think the World Ended?

Assume that since Kumatora is confirmed to been a child in the previous state of the world, that it only happened recently before the events of Earthbound. So the number calculation should be focused on the amount of time between Earthbound and the End of the World.


My take:

-Pigmasks emulate modern culture and use technology that is either Dr. Andonuts crafted (Robotics, Chimeras, Time Travel, Sky Runner) or 90s (Fat TVs, hand radios, etc.) so I think it’s closer to the events of Earthbound than away.


Other takes:

-Porky mentioned he might be 1000 or 10,000 years old.

Sorry, I missunderstood the question, I tought it meant how long until the dark dragon destroyed the world in the ending of mother 3. I think it would've happened between 200X and 201X
