MOTHER Alter: Sprite Updates

First test!
(WIP) All the animations for Luis are done!
As for the rest we're only missing the running animations on the regular directions, the diagonals are already finished.
EDIT: before anyone mentions it, I already corrected Bella's upward animations, wich looked kinda weird. Both diagonal and vertical.

We're back to working on this after a few days of hiatus.
I'll also use this post to remind that the fact that we don't work on Alter every day shouldnt be something you guys have to be worried about.
The game is a secondary project for the both of us, we do it for fun and we dont want that fun to be ruined by forcing ourselves to work on the game when we dont feel like it. The update will eventually come, but expect to be slowly.

Here are some early tests for NPC's. They'll be corrected when we make the animations, but here they are.

The progress goes as this. The gameplay features have already been coded (wich arent much because the update 1.3 already added pretty much everything gameplay-wise) so now we're left with the tedious part: updating all the graphics, wich in the previous version sucked a lot. We're slowly working our way trough them. We stopped with the main characters for a bit because working on the multiple animations turned monotonous and boring, so we're doing NPC's. We finishied everything except a few running animations anyways, so we can come back to that at any point.

This time I propose a game. Only do this if you want, dont feel forced to do it.
This is how it works: All new the sprites I've showed so far from the NPC's were made by using Mother 3 characters as a template, wich we completely modified and just left the general shape. I invite anyone to try and guess wich was used for any character.

Update: ALl the main character animations are done. We won't show them yet as we wanna make a cool looking trailer that shows a before//after taht shows how much the game has changed.
