Opening Commentary:
-I had heard many great things about "Berserk" such the amazing art, and some calling it the perfect story.
-The version I watched was the fanedit "Berserk Redux" which takes all of the Berserk animation and slices the footage to be as close as to the manga.
Thoughts on Golden Age Saga
-Guts is probably one of the best protagonists ever written
-The Tragedy of Griffith was handled really well
-Golden Age Saga is the best part of Berserk in my opinion
-The sex scenes could get disturbing for some, but it fits with the world's dark realism
Thoughts on Dark Age Saga
-Once the "Advent" sequence happens at the climax of the Golden Age Saga, the whole story takes a dramatic switch to pure satanism. Not a bad thing, per se, but I don't blame if people get unexpectedly super uncomfortable and quit the story.
-The suspension of disbelief gets challenged a lot when the anime clique moments happen with the comedic supporting characters
-The Conviction Arc could get slow at times
-The animation felt a lot more stiff and motionless, the overuse of 3D didn't help either. Also the filter should've been dropped or replaced with something else.
-The Casca moments are definitely the hardest parts to watch
-Not sure why they didn't animate the rest of the Millennium Falcon Arc

-It's a shame that Berserk is left unfinished, hopefully he left a manuscript to follow.
