Its not as exciting as it was with N64 and Gamecube. Old consoles still rule today! lol. (y)
The only major letdown was announcing it too early with only very few games revealed
and some won't come out the same day as launch. Donkey Kong and Mario Kart are the only
good games shown there but Kirby AirRiders look like a joke to me with no new racers or any new vehicles
unless they are saving new content for future updates on another direct.

Metroid Prime 4 was already talked about since 2020! and rumors keep saying about it will be on Switch 1 and it didn't came and we get a terrible Metroid game instead sadly. Other M 2 or at least a 3D Super Metroid or Metroid Fusion remake wouldn't be a bad choice.

My Switch 1 is still working but it has problems with connecting the controllers. I was thinking about taking it to repairs and with the new system coming too early I think we should just give it more time until the selection of games grow for another year when theres more games to choose from! For now I'll just wait while I still have my Switch 1 in the meantime lol. (y)

I feel Nintendo is being very overconfident after the Switch’s success that they are due for a correction.

At least the old Switch 1 controllers are compatible with the Switch 2 exclusive games.
Don’t have to buy new controllers

Was pleasantly surprised with things like new Mario Kart and Tomodachi Life, and I never thought I'd ever see a Soulsborne game on a Nintendo console.

Didn't plan on buying the console anyway, but the price reveal kind of locked that choice in, haha. And the physical chat button that I assume doesn't work if you don't have NSO really rubs me the wrong way. I feel it's a little odd how Nintendo market themselves as accessible for a family audience, but ask for too much in terms of money and subscriptions. It just doesn't feel affordable.
