It's tricky because there's also the question if the Sunflower Fields chapter of MOTHER 3 was a dream or not.
Alec does mention that Hinawa visited him in his dreams and told him to build the hay pile so Lucas can land on it.

What I’m wondering is if Lucas has an subconscious PSI ability of broadcasting his perception of Hinawa into other people’s thoughts and dreams.

There are things about Mother 3’s story that does point to Lucas being an unreliable protagonist, although I based my answer from a game development perspective and how insistent the post-World War II thought had influenced the game.

In Earthbound Tribulation, a planned Fangame from Claus’s perspective of events, Lucas is indeed suffering from imbued hallucinations of his mother that possessed him. But I still consider that a personal retcon, than something that was implied by the developers like Fassad being a Magyspy, when the character is personally suited better not being a Magypsy.

i do believe she was real, at least to some extent.

lucas isn't the only one to have felt her presence, so have claus and maaaaybe boney, depending on how real the sunflower fields are.
but more importantly, i recall doria having had hinawa come to them in their dreams, and gave instructions on how to save kumatora.
lucas wasn't anywhere nearby when this happened, so it's not likely a hallucination directly tied to him.
