Why MOTHER 3 doesn't seem to be getting a localization anytime soon.

I'm sorry to say this, but MOTHER 3's never getting localized anytime soon. Here are a few theories as to why:

- The Magypsies: Yeah, the magypsies are easy to be mistakened for transgender stereotypes, which could lead to cancel culture doing its thing on Nintendo.

- Localization can damage the original works: Yeah, if you remember, localization includes censorship, which means the mushroom drug trip scene, Hinawa's death, and mountains upon mountains of scenes could be either cut or reworked because Nintendo is known for their family friendly brand.

-The "Localize MOTHER 3" Movement: There was this strange period of time where this dumbass in the MOTHER community thought that having members of the fandom clog up Nintendo support calls with "When will you localize MOTHER 3" was a good idea, and as you remember, it FAILED, and Reggie ended up refusing to localize it and quit.

-Itoi would have to give approval: Itoi owns the MOTHER series. Nintendo just owns the games. Itoi would have to give his approval before they could do that BUT he's retired

-EarthBound failed in the US, pushing them to never release MOTHER 3 here: I personally blame Miyamoto for it.

Yeah it’s mostly because of the Magypsies from what I heard. Especially this scene:

Yeah.
I was once speaking with a transgender friend about this and he told me that even if it may seem insensitive to others, he didn't see it too bad.
In his own words "Trans people can have moustaches if they want, it isn't bad to show that" (this was talking about Doria specifically).

If people get the joke it’s one thing, but it’s not like one makes a joke at the expense of the king and the king doesn’t follow suit with expelling that joker out of his kingdom for lowering his eminence to one of being laughed at, and not of being feared.

Like Cancel Culture is only effective because those behind it have power and inherently fear to lose that influence, like due to the consideration of being degraded by such individuals who provoke one’s sensitivities in their eyes.

Likewise, the spectrum of offense is determined on how much esteem is held on the one being perceived to be under scrutiny of another.
